What am I to think when your people alienate me

while telling me that the only way to God is to enter in?

I was left stranded in the cold on your doorstep

and I found more of God outside your walls

than I ever could have hoped for within.

Church:

Girl: 

I can take myself and go find God elsewhere.

God can find me where I’m at.

And when I come back to the church

I will bring Her with me and join Her inside.

I will come back.
